CJ Jeans
CJ Jeans is a line created by Cookie Johnson, wife of former NBA great Magic Johnson. Ms. Johnson has a degree in retail clothing and textiles from the University of Michigan. Cookie developed the line through frustration in her inability to find jeans to fit her body type. This is a problem for most women because the current denim product producers have cookie cutter type mentality that have women sizes in a box.
I personally favor denim leggings to real jeans, because it is so hard for me to find a pair that fit right and if they fit at the top the rest of the pant looks horrid on me. Together with Michael Glasser the CJ jean line was spawned, CJ by Cookie Johnson.
These jeans are made of premium denim to fit and look stylish on regular bodies, not those of models. CJ Jean line consists of boot cut, straight leg, boyfriend, high waist and leggings, sizes 24 - 38.

Hi, I just bought a pair of the denim leggings, because even though I am quite small, I always find jeans don't seem to fit me. but this is a great idea for the bigger lady. nell
fastfreta: thanks so much for the read and comment. I'm with you I just purchase denium leggings and forget trying to buy real jeans, but now there seems to be several companies that address this problem. Finally they realize we're not all cookie cutter sizes.
I actually stopped wearing jeans because I don't look good in any that I find. If I could find a pair that fits my body type, then I'll begin wearing them again. I'm going to look into her jeans, although they are a little pricey. Maybe just one pair though. Thanks pmmcray for doing the research. See you again soon.

Thanks for the information and i hope they would be available in India soon. Not every girl's body fits in to the mould of the mass cloth manufractures and none gives a damm about them, it is unfortunate that they have to fit their body in clothes rather than other way round, it is nice to know someone thought about it

Her jeans are fabulous! It is so great to find jeans that look good, and fit properly. I mean why would I want to mash my glorious behind in a pair of buttless jeans. My daughter-in-law and I were just talking about CJ jeans. MY DIL has to get jeans that are too big and then have the waist taken in. Me, I've just stopped buying them. You know pmccray - I've gotten very particular about how I spend my money.
